A
winter look when the building was still partially under construction
Another look from a different angle
A
look from the north east side of the building
A
look from the North at the main entrance
Another
look from the north east side
Looking
at the lake from the north east side of the building
Looking
from the guest quarter deck over the lake , note it still being open due to
heavy current and also notice the birds feeding
This
definitely is 4X4 weather in the country
A
shot out front after an ice storm
A
shot of our neighbors house the property line runs between the 2 blue spruce
Here
is a shot when the first phase of the building was nearly completed ( now the
guest quarters) notice part of the old cottages still wrapped around the
building.
A
look from standing on the snow covered ice at the boardwalk
Another
look with most of the old buildings still in place
Looking
toward the west along the boardwalk
Notice
the old buildings , the only thing now remaining is the old stone fire place ,
notice the chimney on the left , which was incorporated into the second
phase
Now
if this is not 4x4 weather what is it?
looking
at the east side , not so bad with all the snow removed
This
is what it looked like a few years back you are looking at the far west side of
the property which runs between the 2 blue spruce , one is on our neighbors
property and the other one on ours.
A
look at Connie Bennets property before the beavers got the trees , she has since
sold the cottage and moved back to Florida
And
last but not least a look at our neighbors home in the winter, the dark siding
color gives it a nice contrast against the snow
